I've been listening this week to the newest New Pornographers release, Challengers. It's a fine, fine album - perhaps, as Jim&Greg state, not quite as consistently strong as Twin Cinema, but excellent and on my buy-it list.
The earworm of the album, though, is Mutiny, I Promise You. It's a Decemberists title, but a fine bar song, a rollick of organ and guitar and harmonies.

Not quite the full depth and amazement of her cover of The Who Sell Out from end to end, this cover of Journey's Don't Stop Believin' by Petra Haden is still quite a tasty weekend morsel.
Comes from Guilt By Association, a set of guilty pleasures covered by various indie luminaries.
